I can not rate this gym high enough, I joined in November 2018 and haven't looked back since. The atmosphere is really great and so friendly not just the staff but everyone who attends and you always feel at ease and comfortable. The PT instructors are very aware of what you can and can't do and encourage you on when you need it.
I did join a different gym before but was never motivated enough to always attend. Thank you ThisIsFitness you have got me hooked. X

It has been said before, but this place is special. I have been a member at various gyms before, done what many people do - I have gone in with enthusiasm for the first few weeks, then paid a fortune for the occasional time I go after that. Eventually I would cancel the membership until the next time. The reality is I didn't enjoy going to the gym, I didn't know what I was doing, and would spend my time on cardio machines - afraid of the weights.
I honestly look forward to my sessions at This is Fitness. Every session is different so I don't end up feeling bored. I always feel like I am working hard and making progress - the trainers are so friendly and encouraging, and help me safely leave my comfort zone. They have taught me what to do and how to do it. I love feeling stronger in myself, and actually having muscles!
If you are like me and don't enjoy going to the gym but want to feel fitter and stronger, I can't recommend This is Fitness enough.read more

I’m now into my second month at TIF & right from the start Hayley and Liam made us very welcome, we felt like we’d been coming for years, and the same goes for all the customers I have met so far.
I’ve been training with Adam and Jack who are superb PT's & each session is always different but tailored to your individual needs. I have been living in Stafford for a couple of year’s now and wanted to join a fitness centre that not only gets you fit but gets you out and about and interacting with different people - TIF was definitely a the right choice. I joined This Is Fitness back in January having tried ‘normal’ gyms and got bored and given up. I am still a regular attender at TIF and not bored and no two sessions are the same. The encouragement from the coaches and other members keeps me going and I have seen a real change in body shape, strength and stamina. As one of the more mature members I have never felt uncomfortable, even when in a class with others so much younger (and fitter) than me. I first started at TIF in 2015 and then I had a break to have my second child.
I have been back about 2/3 months now and love it just like before. The flexibility in when you book sessions and PTs are great and work really well for me with a family.
Hayley, Liam and Jack make every session ‘fun’ it’s tough but I am always motivated every time I go as each session is always different and varied.
Everyone you meet are friendly, supportive and I have made lots of friends since joining.
I wish I had more ‘free time’ to attend even more! I recommend the studio to anyone - you will not be disappointed.

I am doing things I never thought I would be able to do! All of the trainers are amazing and knowledgable and make the sessions fun and I actually look forward to going! The atmosphere is so friendly and there are people of all abilities but everybody is supportive of each other �.

With the personal coaching and fun atmosphere it never feels like a chore to go. Although pushing myself, I find that we laugh and smile for the whole hour. All abilities and goals are catered for and you really feel looked after. The coaches are all approachable and knowledgeable. For anyone that has read my post you'll know what I feel.
Hayley, Karen, Liam are motivational all in different ways; they really compliment each other so first up, shout out to all of them.
I was skeptical at the start, well more nervous actually, but within moments of stepping into the place I was made to feel welcomed.
But for the weight of a fag paper I was 21stone when I started in January - thanks to weekly small group pt sessions which I enjoyed so much, I later signed up for 1-2-1 pt with Karen, and now I'm attending the odd class on top of that too, I'm now 18st 10lb (2stone 11lb loss so far, and a 18% reduction in body fat weight (in real terms)) in 3 months - this is what I've achieved with the help of this team along with sorting my nutrition.
So - just try it I'm telling you it'll work - what are you going to achieve with their help?read more

For nearly a year now I have been going to ThisIsFitness doing a mixture of PT sessions with Liam and attending the classes that they put on.
Before going to ThisIsFitness I'd never been to a Gym in my life so was a bit apprehensive about what it would be like.
Well, what can I say! I have completely enjoyed the experience. Liam and the team really put me at ease straight away, putting any doubts that I had to rest with their friendly environment and the emphasis on explaining why we did the exercises that we did.
I can say that over the year that I have been with them my general fitness has improved a great deal and that by following the sports specific programme that Liam designed I have been able to achieve by far the most successful cricket season yet!
I look forward to the future sessions with them and the continued improvement in my fitness and performance, I could not recommend them enough.read more

5 weeks ago I started 1 2 1 PT sessions once a week with Hayley.
I have been very reluctant to take up any sort of exercise following a series of knee injuries. Any exercise with any sort of impact sets me back for weeks.
I have special low/no impact modified circuits and exercises laid out for me every week and after 5 classes I can say my knee is holding up and I'm feeling fitter and stronger.
I cannot recommend This is Fitness strongly enough. Their facilities are excellent and the fitness instructors are professional.

Those who know me will realise that exercise really ain't my thing but since joining ThisIsFitness I'm now actually enjoying getting fit. If, like me, you've joined so many gyms over the years you could retire on the fees you've paid out, then give this a go is what I'd say. It's different. How? It caters for all ages, all abilities and from day 1 you feel welcome and part of the family, Family TiF!. Liam is such a nice guy and what I like best is that he gives you an easy to understand explanation of each of the exercises, why they are important and how it all works. I've recently joined the Introduction to Exercise programme and I'm not only enjoying it but I've proved I can actually do it. I feel a great sense of achievement and after only the first two sessions I'm feeling the benefit. Liam is a great motivator, he makes it fun and he's very supportive. So later on I'll be getting off my sofa, taking part in the next session and by the time I'm driving home I'll definitely have the 'feel good factor'. I love this is Fitness, Hayley is my PT and she is very good at working around my schedule which can change on a weekly basis! She works me hard and is really motivating! All of the team are really friendly and make you feel very welcome. I would recommend to anybody xxx

I have been training with Hayley Jenks for the past few weeks and have certainly been put through my paces. I'm already feeling much fitter and stronger than ever before and I'm much closer to reaching my personal goals. Fantastic programs using a range of movements and equipment, tailored to meet my needs and help reach my desired targets. All the dedicated PTs really listen to you, push you, work with you and help to fit in to your life, rather than you fit into their schedules.
